K1 Chinese Class for Preschoolers
Through activities such as nursery rhymes and puzzles, students learn to recognize and write the basic strokes and commonly used radicals of Chinese characters, training them to write characters with the correct stroke order.
K2 Chinese Class for Primary 1 Preparation
We prepare our courses to engage children’s listening and visual senses, helping them learn basic Chinese characters and Hanyu Pinyin in a fun and natural way. Children are guided to understand sentence structure, use the learnt vocabulary to form sentences and write short stories based on pictures. Gradually, this builds a foundation for them to read Pinyin-supported storybooks independently and lays a strong foundation for their primary school Chinese.

In our preschool Chinese tuition classes, children learn commonly used Chinese characters and vocabulary through pictures, nursery rhymes, puzzles and interactive activities. They are also introduced to basic strokes, common radicals and the correct stroke order. This helps them remember Chinese characters more easily and build confidence in learning Chinese.
Listening, Speaking and Early Chinese Literacy
Through storytelling, songs, role play and classroom conversations, children develop their listening and oral communication skills. Picture books and guided reading activities also help them recognise words in context, understand simple stories and build early Chinese literacy skills.
Hanyu Pinyin and Primary 1 Preparation
As children progress through K1 and K2, they are introduced to Hanyu Pinyin, simple sentence structures and age appropriate reading materials. Teachers guide them in forming sentences, discussing pictures and expressing their ideas. This helps children prepare more confidently for Primary 1 Chinese.

Frequently Asked Questions about Chinese Preschool Classes
Yes. Our preschool programme includes systematic Hanyu Pinyin instruction. By the end of the K2 level, most children are able to accurately read Pinyin and Chinese characters with Pinyin.
We operate small-group classes, with a maximum of 6 students per class. Our lower-age classes (K1–K2) typically have 3 to 4 students, so the teacher–student ratio ranges from 1:3 to 1:6, ensuring individual attention for every child.
Each lesson is 90 minutes long, with a 5-minute break in between. Through songs, storytelling, pictures, and game-based activities, children learn Chinese in an engaging and enjoyable way, which helps them stay focused throughout the lesson.
