What fees do students need to pay upon registration?

New students are required to pay the course fee, a registration fee of $50, a materials fee of $20 per term, and a student deposit of $100 which is refundable with 4-week notice in advance.

Are fees charged monthly or per learning stage?

Fees are charged per term which is 3 months. Each term consists of 10–12 lessons.

If my child decides not to continue after paying the tuition, can the fee be refunded?

Tuition fees are non-refundable. If you wish to withdraw from the course, you must notify the centre four weeks before the end of the current stage. The deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after the last lesson.

If a student cannot attend a lesson, is there a make-up class?

If a student is sick or cannot attend due to other activities, please inform the centre in advance. A make-up class will be arranged in a parallel class or as a one-on-one session for one hour. To ensure learning continuity, each stage allows a maximum of three make-up sessions.

Are classes held on public holidays or school holidays?

Classes are not held on all national public holidays, and tuition fees are not charged for those days, so make-up classes are not required. During the March and September school holidays, classes continue as usual. During the last two weeks of the June and December holidays, the centre is closed for term break.

How many students are there in each class?

Each class has a maximum of 8 students, and online classes are held simultaneously.

What courses are available for Primary 6 students preparing for the PSLE?

For P6 students, we offer regular classes in Reading Comprehension and Writing, focusing on improving scores in Paper 1 and Paper 2. There is also an Oral and Composition course to specifically enhance oral expression and writing skills. A comprehensive preparation course integrating Reading Comprehension, Oral, and Composition is also available. Please consult individual centres for details.

Are there preparatory courses for the O-Level examination?

Our secondary school courses are designed according to O-Level requirements. The exercises in our textbooks are aligned with O-Level question types. From Secondary 1 onwards, we help students prepare for both school exams and the O-Level examination.

What textbooks do you use? Are they related to school textbooks?

We use self-developed materials by Huayi Education. The content aligns with government school Chinese textbooks, with expanded depth and breadth in vocabulary and reading comprehension, helping students easily cope with school examinations.

If I want to pause the course temporarily and retain the tuition fee, what is the maximum duration allowed?

In principle, temporary pauses are not allowed. For health or other special reasons, unused tuition fees can be retained for a maximum of one learning stage (12 weeks). If the student does not resume classes on time, the tuition fee will expire and is non-refundable.

常见问题

请问报名的学生需要支付哪些费用？

新报名的学生除了支付课费以外，还需要支付报名费（$50）；材料费$20/学段；学生押金$100. (学生停课前四周通知，押金返还)

请问收费是按月收费还是按学段收费？

我们统一按学段收费，一个学段包含10-12节课不等。

支付学费后，如果孩子不想上课了，学费可以退吗？

课费支付后，不予退还。如要退出课程，在本学段结束前四周通知所在校区，押金在最后节课结束后7个工作日退回。

学生补课如果不能去上课，是否有补课？

学生如果生病或者因为其它活动不能来上课，请提前通知所在校区，会安排在平行班补课。或者安排1-对-1补课一个小时。为了保证学习的连贯性，一个学段只允许有3次补课机会。

公共假期和学生假期是否正常上课？

所有国家规定的公共假期都不排课，也不收课费，所以无需补课。3月和9月的学生假期中心正常上课，6月和12月假期的后两周没有课，书院停课休息。

请问你们一个班有多少学生？

我们每个班最多是8个学生，可以同步上网课。

请问针对小六会考的学生，有哪些课程？

针对P6的学生，我们的日常班有阅读理解与写作课，主要提升学生试卷一和试卷二的成绩。另一个课程是口试与作文，专项提升口语表达能力和作文写作技巧。也有含阅读理解、口试与作为于一体的综合备考班。详情请咨询各校区。

请问有针对O-LEVEL考试的预备课程吗？

我们的中学课程跟随O水准的要求设置，教材的练习题型以O-水准考题为导向。所以从中一开始我们就在帮助学生应对学校考试的同时，为他们准备O水准考试了。

我们使用的是华艺书院自主编写的教材，内容配合政府学校的华文课本，在词汇和阅读理解方面进行深度和广度上的拓展，帮助学生轻松应对学校考试。

如果想保留学费，暂时停课，最长可停课多久？

原则上我们不允许暂时停课或跳课，因为健康或其它特殊原因需要暂停课程，未使用的学费最多保留一个学段（12周）。如果没有按时复课，学费失效，不予退还。
